Old Fashioned Pecan Pie

This recipe was given to me by a close friend , it is simple and very easy to make and taste like the ones our grandmothers used to make...Hope you enjoy making it for your family as much as I do for mine . HAPPY COOKING!!

  • 3
    eggs (well beaten)
  • 1 c
  • 3/4 c
    white karo syrup
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 stick
    parkay margarine (melted)
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 c
    pecans (chopped)

How to Make Old Fashioned Pecan Pie


  1. Beat your eggs , then add your sugar till mixed , slowly add the karo syrup , vanilla , salt and 1/2 stick cooled melted margarine...stir till mixed , add your pecans.
  2. Pour in a unbaked pie crust
  3. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10 minutes then reduce to 325 for 30 to 35 minutes. Let pie completely cool before cutting.
