**This recipe makes 2 pies.

My daughter requested that I make this for her birthday instead of traditional birthday cake. It is a family favorite in our home.

  • 1 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/3 c
  • 1 1/3 c
    dark corn syrup
  • 2 c
  • 6 large
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1-1 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 2
    regular pie crusts (not deep dish)

How to Make Oatmeal Pecan Pie


  1. Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup & oats.
  2. Stir in eggs & vanilla.
  3. Pour into pie pans.
  4. Top with pecans.
  5. Cover edges of crust with foil.
  6. Bake at 325' for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake 20-25 more minutes more or until pie is set in center.
