**This recipe makes 2 pies. My daughter requested that I make this for her birthday instead of traditional birthday cake. It is a family favorite in our home.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, melted
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups dark corn syrup
  • 2 cups oats
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1-1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 2 - regular pie crusts (not deep dish)

How To Make oatmeal pecan pie

  • Step 1
    Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup & oats.
  • Step 2
    Stir in eggs & vanilla.
  • Step 3
    Pour into pie pans.
  • Step 4
    Top with pecans.
  • Step 5
    Cover edges of crust with foil.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 325' for 25 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Remove foil and bake 20-25 more minutes more or until pie is set in center.
