Got this from a friend in Carlisle, PA when I lived there. Have used it often and even served it frozen.

Ingredients

1 package 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup crunchy or smooth peanut butter
1 - 8 ounce carton of cool whip
1 - baked pie shell or ready made graham cracker crust pie shell
- chocolate syrup to drizzle on top if desired

How To Make norma's easy peanut butter pie

Step 1

with mixer, cream the cream cheese

Step 2

add sugar and peanut butter, beat until smooth
Step 3

fold in half of cool whip
Step 4

pour into a grahm cracker crust pie plate or your own baked pie crust
Step 5

top with remaining cool whip
Step 6

drizzle chocolate over top and make pattern with a knife to decorate
Step 7

refrigerate or freeze
