This recipe was given to my Mom when they lived on the Naval Base in Neveda by Emma Moore. My mom insists that you cannot fail to make a good crust with this recipe. Which is true I guess since my crusts are always good it's the innards of the pie that have issues...LOL...

Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 3/4 cups crisco shortening
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make no fail pie crust. or so my mom promises me...

Step 1Blend together the flour, shortening, salt, and sugar.

Step 2In separate bowl beat together the egg, vinegar, and water.

Step 3Pour egg mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a fork until dough ball forms. Put into covered bowl and chill in fridge. Use as needed.
