One time I said that the only pie crust I ever had success with came ready made from the store. Hearing this my niece gave me this recipe and I must admit that it did not fail me.

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups vegetable shortening
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg, well beaten
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
How To Make never fail pie crust

Step 1Cut shortening into flour and salt. Combine egg, water and vinegar. Pour liquid into flour mixture all at once. Blend with spoon just until flour is all moistened.

Step 2This is an easy crust to work with and can be re-rolled without toughening. It can be kept in refrigerator without spoiling up to 2 weeks.
