Ingredients
- 1 - 9-inch deep dish pie crust
- 8 ounces pkg. philadephia cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup light or dark corn syrup
How To Make mystery pecan pie

Step 1Beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the salt in a small mixing bowl until thick and creamy. Set aside.

Step 2Beat 3 eggs in mixing bowl only until blended. Add 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla; blend well.

Step 3Spread cream cheese mixture in the bottom of pie crust. Sprinkle with pecans. Gently pour corn syrup mixture over pecans. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 for about 30 minutes, or until center is firm to touch. After the pie is baked, the filling will be at the bottom, the cream mixture will be in the center and the pecans will be on top.
