My sweet potato pie has won 1st place in a baking competition.My family request that I bring my sweet potato pies to every family gathering, christmas, thanksgiving,and family reunion.

Ingredients

  • 4 large
    cooked and peeled sweet potatoes
  • 2 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, unsalted
  • 3 large
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    bourbon
  • 2 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2
    9 inch deep dish pie shell

How to Make My Sweet Potato Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degreess.
  2. Mash sweet potatoes, add sugar, spices,and eggs. Blend until smooth add milk.
  3. Once completely mixed pour into pie shells(prefer Ms.Smith).Bake for about an hour. Let cool to room temperature. May be served alone or with whip cream.Visit my page on facebook Taymi' s Sweet!!
