mom's pecan pie
This is a pie that my Mom made when we were growing up. The Karo Maple syrup was just the right touch that made it better than any other pecan pie.

Ingredients
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup karo maple syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 - 9" pie crust
How To Make mom's pecan pie

Step 1Preheat oven at 350 F.

Step 2Beat eggs well in a medium mixing bowl.

Step 3Add flour, salt and sugar and mix well.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients in order given.

Step 5Pour into uncooked 9" pie shell. DO NOT PRICK PIE CRUST.

Step 6Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.

Step 7Reduce heat to 300F and bake for 45 – 50 minutes or until pie is firm in the middle.
