Ingredients
- 1 - refrigerated pie crusts
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 4 cups apples, peeled, sliced thin
- 1 - egg white, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- - cool whip or whipped cream, sweetened

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2Prepare crust as directed. Place on foil lined baking sheet. Press out any folds.

Step 3Mix 3/4 C sugar, cornstarch & cinnamon. Toss with apples. Spoon into center of crust, spread 2" from edge. Top crust...fold 2 edge over apples, pleating crust as needed. Cut slits for steam to escape. Brush crust with egg white & sprinkle top with 1 tsp sugar. Bake 20 minutes. Cool. Serve with cool whip or whipped cream.
