Ingredients

  • 1 - refrigerated pie crusts
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 4 cups apples, peeled, sliced thin
  • 1 - egg white, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • - cool whip or whipped cream, sweetened

How To Make *** mom's easy apple pie ***

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Prepare crust as directed. Place on foil lined baking sheet. Press out any folds.
  • Step 3
    Mix 3/4 C sugar, cornstarch & cinnamon. Toss with apples. Spoon into center of crust, spread 2" from edge. Top crust...fold 2 edge over apples, pleating crust as needed. Cut slits for steam to escape. Brush crust with egg white & sprinkle top with 1 tsp sugar. Bake 20 minutes. Cool. Serve with cool whip or whipped cream.
