How to Make Mom's Chess Pie
2Mix melted butter with sugar.
3Add lemon juice and cornmeal to the butter/sugar mixture.
5Combine butter/sugar mixture and beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly, but with a very light hand.
6Pour into unbaked pie shell.
7Bake 45-50 minutes at 325. The pie is done when it is puffed up and firm in the center.
