How to Make Mom's Chess Pie

- 3Add lemon juice and cornmeal to the butter/sugar mixture.
- 4Beat eggs separately.
- 5Combine butter/sugar mixture and beaten eggs. Mix thoroughly, but with a very light hand.
- 6Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- 7Bake 45-50 minutes at 325. The pie is done when it is puffed up and firm in the center.
