mom-mom's no-bake cherry cheese pie/tarts

My Mom made this many times when I was growing up, for both holiday family events and church functions. It's still one of my favorites and so easy to make! I could eat the filling right out of the blender. Ha!

yield 8 slices (or 12 tarts)

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whipped cream cheese (make sure it's 'whipped')
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1 can sweetened, condensed milk
  • 1 - graham cracker pie crust (or 1 doz. graham cracker tart shells)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (or strawberry works nice too)

How To Make mom-mom's no-bake cherry cheese pie/tarts

  • Step 1
    In a blender, combine the first 3 ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Refrain from eating the filling right out of the blender. ;)
  • Step 3
    Pour/spoon filling into pie (or tart) crust(s).
  • Step 4
    Save clear top from pie crust package. Flipped over, it makes a great lid when you chill it in the fridge.
  • Step 5
    Chill 20 minutes in the freezer.
  • Step 6
    Top with pie filling.
  • Step 7
    Place clear lid over top and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
