This is really simple. Granted, the directions are sketchy. It is a family recipe from my mom in law. The ladies at her church all use a version of this recipe or method

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • - shortening (add to water to make 1 cup)

How To Make mom e's e-z no fail pie pastry

  • Step 1
    Put flour in bowl
  • Step 2
    Put shortening in water. TO MAKE 1 CUP SHORTENING AND WATER SHOULD = 1 CUP TOGETHER
  • Step 3
    Combine flour and water with the shortening in it. WATER-SHORTENING MIX combines with flour
  • Step 4
    Mix well
  • Step 5
    Flour board generously and roll out dough
