I'm sure a lot of you have already tried this recipe but for those of you who haven't, you might find this recipe interesting if not amazing!

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 30 - ritz crackers
- 1 - unbaked pie shell
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- FOR CRUMB TOPPING:
- 1 cup finely rolled ritz crackers (into crumbs) approx: 25 crackers
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/3 cup melted marg or butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make mock apple pie

Step 1Combine water, sugar and cream of tartar in medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

Step 2Drop Whole Ritz Crackers into the saucepan and DO NOT STIR but gently push the crackers under the boiled mixture and simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3Pour into the uncooked pie shell. Sprinkle lemon juice and cinnamon on top.

Step 4Combine finely rolled Ritz Crackers, brown sugar, melted marg or butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of pie.

Step 5Bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes then reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F. and bake for another 15-20 minutes.
