  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 stick
    margarine
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 4 c
    dry minute oats
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • ·
    waxed paper

How to Make Mississippi Mud Pies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a saucepan, boil together for one minute:
    sugar, water, cocoa, margarine and salt.
  2. When it boils for one minute, add the oats and the peanut butter.
  3. Drop by teaspoonsful onto the waxed paper; allow to cool.
