This is the Original Oyster House (in Gulf Shores, AL) recipe for Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pie. My daughter ate there a few times while she was on spring break some years back. She ended her (one of many) meals with their Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pie. This is another wonderful and easy recipe she just had to have. And, I have to agree, this is pretty wonderful!!

Ingredients

1 - (8-ounce) cream cheese
1 - 16-oz tub whip topping (thawed)
1 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon kahlua
8 ounces powdered sugar
3/4 cup chocolate chips, mini
1 - oreo pie shell

How To Make meribeth's chocolate chip peanut butter pie - dee dee's

Step 1

Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, Kahlua and powdered sugar together. Add cool whip and blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into pie shell. Should be mounded high in the middle.

Step 2

Note: Keep refrigerated. Serve with a dollop of whip cream.
