This is the best pumpkin pie I have ever tasted. It is rich, delicious and addictive! Serve with a dollop of fresh whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream to send it right over the top!

Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 2 cups canned pumpkin pie mix
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 - egg
- 2 - egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger, ground
- 2 - store bought deep dish pie crusts
How To Make maw maw's pumpkin pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2With a hand mixer cream together cream cheese, brown sugar, spices, vanilla extract and melted butter.

Step 3Add 1 cup evaporated milk and 2 cups of canned pumpkin, mix thoroughly.

Step 4In a separate bowl whisk one whole egg and two egg yolks, then add to pumpkin mixture and beat thoroughly.

Step 5Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula and make sure that all ingredients are incorporated.

Step 6Divide mixture evenly between two deep dish pie crusts. I use a ladle and fill the shells one ladle at a time to make sure that they are perfectly even.

Step 7Place pies in the oven and bake for 50 minutes, then allow pies to cool completely on the counter and then store in the refrigerator.
