Mashed Potato Pie

This pie is very good. does not taste like mashed potatoes. It has a custard pie taste. I usually use Pillsbury store bought crust instead of making one.
What a delicious way to use up those extra mashed potatoes. This recipe came from one of my dearest friend and grandmother.

  • 1 c
    mashed potatoes (extra from when you have them from dinner)
  • 3/4 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter melted
  • 2
  • 1
    pie crust store bought or make your own

How to Make Mashed Potato Pie


  1. Directions:
    Mix together all ingredients in a blender and pour into a deep pie crust.
    Sprinkle a little nutmeg on top of pie before baking.
  2. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until firm.
