Ingredients

1single pie crust, preferably homemade, fitted into a 9"pie plate and left unbaked

2large eggs
-
115 oz can pure pumpkin puree
-
1cup heavy cream
-
1/2cup good pure maple syrup
-
3/4tsp ground cinnamon
-
1/2tsp gound ginger
-
1/2tsp kosher salt
-
1/8tsp gound cloves
-
·whipped cream, for serving
How to Make Maple Pumpkin Pie
- Set oven rack to the lowest position and heat oven to 350 degrees
- Place the pie plate on a foil-lined baking sheet
- Roll out pie dough to fit into 9" pan
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, pumpkin, cream, maple syrup and spices
- Pour mixture into the unbaked crust and bake until the center is set, approximately 60-70 minutes
- Let cool to room temperature before serving with a dollop of whipped cream
