    medium sweet potato
  • 1 can(s)
    (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 1/4 c
    maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp
  • pinch
    nutmeg and allspice
  • 1 tsp
  • 1
    9 inch pie crust

How to Make Maple Pumpkin and Sweet potato Pie


  1. Roast the sweet potato on a baking sheet lined with foil at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, peel and puree the roasted potato in a food processor.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the potato puree, pumpkin puree, cream, brown sugar, eggs, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and vanilla and mix well. Place the pie dough into a 9 inch pie tin. Transfer the sweet potato-pumpkin mixture to the crust and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool 2 hours.
