An easy to make pie with maple syrup, brown sugar, butter and pecans. Not as sweet as the pies made with corn syrup, but equally delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 - 9 inch unbaked pie shell
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 3 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
How To Make maple pecan pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place rack at lowest position.

Step 2Beat eggs and add maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter and vanilla.

Step 3Blend well and stir in pecans.

Step 4Pour into pie shell.

Step 5Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and the filling is set. After first 15-20 minutes of baking, use pie shield to protect crust if it gets too brown. Cool.
