I made this a year ago , I always share my food with a elderly couple across the street they love to get homemade desserts, he is 90 his wife 88 it was one of his favorites . Baked it a few days ago decided to share it here.

  • 2 c
    crushed graham crackers
  • 6 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts

  • 2 c
    sweet potatoes canned
  • 1/4 c
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar packed
  • 1/3 c
    pure maple syrup
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 2 large
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 can(s)
    whipped cream

How to Make Maple and Walnut Sweet Potato pie


  1. preheat oven 350 degrees
  2. mix all the ingredients for crust, pat into bottom and up sides of a deep dish 9in. GLASS pie plate .
  3. Bake 6 minutes, remove spread nuts on bottom ,cool completely.
  4. Mix all filling ingredients on medium speed until well blended. Gently pour into pie crust ,bake 50 -60 minutes UNTILL SET. COOL COMPLETELY REFRIGERATE SERVE WITH WHIPPED CREAM
