- 1 cup brown sugar, light
- 7 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 pints whipped cream
- 1 - heath bar, crushed
- 1 - 9 inch baked pie shell
How To Make make ahead caramel cream pie

Step 1combine brown sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan.

Step 2in a bowl, combine beaten eggs and milk. add to dry ingredients and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Step 3remove from heat and add butter and vanilla, beating until smooth. let cool.

Step 4beat whipping cream until peaks form.

Step 5stir 2/3 of whipped cream into cooked mixture.

Step 6spread remaining cream over pie. sprinkle crushed heath bar over top and refrigerate for 24 hours.
