Ingredients

CRUST

1 1/2 c
graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c
sugar
1/2 stick
butter, melted

FILLING

14 oz
sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c
lemon juice, fresh...2 lemons
1 tsp
grated lemon peel
3 large
egg yolks, reserve whites

MERINGUE

3 large
egg whites
1/4 tsp
cream of tartar
1/4 c
sugar

Step-By-Step

1CRUST:
Mix together all crust ingredients until combined. Press into a 9" pie plate.
2FILLING:
mix all ingredients together and pour into pie crust.
3MERINGUE:
Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in the sugar until stiff peaks form.
Spread over pie and seal to the edges.
4Bake fifteen to twenty minutes at 325 degrees.
Chill 2 hours before serving.
