Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 2 - eggs yolk, save whites for meringue
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 - lemon zest, grated
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- MERINGUE:
- 4 - egg whites, stiffly beaten to form peaks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 - pie crust shell, baked
How To Make lemon pie

Step 1FOR PIE: Mix cornstarch,sugar and flour and pour boiling water over this. Stir and cook unil thick.

Step 2Add egg yolks,butter, lemon juice and zest. Cook until egg thckens. Placed in as baked pie crust.

Step 3FOR MERINGUE: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat egg whites until they are stiff and form high peaks. Slowly add sugaar.Beat at medium speed for about 1 minute.

Step 4Immediately spread meringue over pie, carefully sealing to edge of pastry to prevent shrinkage of meringue. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes until peaks are browned.
