How to Make Lemon Meringue Pie
- By hand. Mix yolks, 1/4 c. sugar, lemon juice and condensed milk until smooth.
Pour into pie crust & line outside with vanilla wafers.
- Beat egg whites and add sugar slowly until stiff peaks form.
- Pour onto pie and make sure to go all the way to the edges. (sealing the filling in)
- Bake at 350 degrees until meringue is golden brown. Remove from stove and let cool completely before slicing.
