- 2 - eggs, separated
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make lemon cake pie

Step 1Heat oven to 350°.

Step 2Prepare pastry.

Step 3Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Step 4Beat egg yolks. Add lemon peel and juice and milk; beat.

Step 5Add sugar, flour and salt; beat until smooth.

Step 6Fold into egg whites. Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.

Step 7Bake 45 to 50 minutes.

Step 8Serve warm or cool; if desired, top with whipped cream.
