  • 1 20oz can(s)
    dole crushed pineapple (undrained0
  • 1/2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 pkg
    pie crust for 9 in. pie

How to Make Lattice Pineapple Pie


  1. Mix together pineapple, sugar, cornstarch & salt in pan. Cook & stir until thickened and turns clear. Stir in butter & lemon juice. Cool about 10 min.
  2. Pour into unbaked 9" shell. Cut remaining crust into 1 " strips for lattice top. Weave strips crisscross over pie. Pinch edges. Egg wash the crust. Sprinkle top with a little sugar & cinnamon.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 min. until light golden brown.
