How to Make Lattice Pineapple Pie
- Mix together pineapple, sugar, cornstarch & salt in pan. Cook & stir until thickened and turns clear. Stir in butter & lemon juice. Cool about 10 min.
- Pour into unbaked 9" shell. Cut remaining crust into 1 " strips for lattice top. Weave strips crisscross over pie. Pinch edges. Egg wash the crust. Sprinkle top with a little sugar & cinnamon.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 min. until light golden brown.
