  • 1/2 c

  • 1 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 1/4 c
    pecan halves

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • ·
    1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp lard (yes i said lard) it will make the best tasting and flakiest crust you've ever had
  • 2 Tbsp
    cold water

How to Make Kim's Pecan Pie


  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees. make pie crust. I make mine in a food processor. Add flour, salt, sugar, and lard. Pulse until it is crumbly. add the water all at one time and keep on till it forms a ball. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface and put it in the pie plate.
  2. mix all ingredients together and pour into pie crust.
  3. bake for 45 minutes
