Got this recipe from an old cookbook my mom had and it origianlly called for bourbon. I have tweaked the recipe and changed that bourbon to southern comfort.

pumpkin puree
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
1 1/2 pinch
salt
2 large
eggs
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp
cloves
1/2 tsp
ginger
1/2 tsp
allspice, ground
2 Tbsp
southern comfort

unbaked pie shell (homemade or store bought)

How to Make Kicked Up Pumpkin Pie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees, then combine sugar, salt, spices in small bowl.
  • 2Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Lastly add the Southern Comfort Pour into pie shell.
  • 3Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.; bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
