kicked up pumpkin pie
Got this recipe from an old cookbook my mom had and it origianlly called for bourbon. I have tweaked the recipe and changed that bourbon to southern comfort.

Ingredients
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 pinches salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 2 tablespoons southern comfort
- 1 - unbaked pie shell (homemade or store bought)

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees, then combine sugar, salt, spices in small bowl.

Step 2Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Lastly add the Southern Comfort Pour into pie shell.

Step 3Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.; bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
