key lime pie - it's so easy

I found this recipe in a Weight Watchers cookbook but I have made it my "own". I have chosen to use fat free products in my recipe. It's so easy to make. I suppose with some imagination you could take this basic recipe and make all sorts of flavors. As a citrus LOVER I have made key lime and lemon. Enjoy!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 - reduced fat graham cracker crust
  • 1 - can of fat free sweetened condensed eagle brand milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 - 8 oz. container of fat free cool whip
  • - the zest of 1 lime
  • - reddi wip for garnish with sliced lime or lime zest

How To Make key lime pie - it's so easy

  • Step 1
    Mix the lime juice with the sweetened condensed milk. You may want to add a drop or two of green food coloring.
  • Step 2
    Add the cool whip to the above mixture. Do not over mix. Fold in the lime zest.
  • Step 3
    Pour the mixture into the pie shell and then into the freezer for at least 6 hours. Top with Fat Free Reddi Wip and most of all ENJOY!!!
