Key Lime Pie

1 1/2 cgraham cracker crumbs
6 Tbspbutter, melted
1 ckey lime juice (nelli and joes in a bottle)
2 (14oz) can(s)sweetened condensed milk
1 tsplime zest
1 cupheavy cream
How to Make Key Lime Pie
- In small bowl stir graham cracker crumbs and sugar together, Add melted butter, and stir to combine, then press into 9-inch pie pan
- For the filling: In a large bowl with a electric mixer, mix sweetened condensed milk, Key lime juice, lime zest and egg yolks.
- Pour into graham cracker crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for about 20 minutes. Refrigerate at least four hours to set. While this sets, put a mixing bowl made of glass or metal in the freezer to get cold to make your topping. (would not recommend plastic does not get cold enough)
- Prepare whipped cream: With a electric mixer, in a bowl that has been chilled in freezer. Mix on high speed the heavy cream and 3/4 c sugar until peaks appear. Garnish with whipped cream and serve.
