Ingredients

  • 2 packages 3 oz. lime jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup key lime juice
  • 2 cans 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pint (2 cups) whipping cream
  • 2 - graham cracker pie crust

How To Make key lime pie x 2

  • Step 1
    Dissolve jello in boiling water, and let cool, I put it in a bowl in the freezer to speed up the cooling;
  • Step 2
    Whip the whipping cream till stiff peaks form; set aside; Take cooled starting to set jello add to a mixing bowl and mix well till smooth add rest of the ingredients mixing well;
  • Step 3
    gently fold in whipped cream just until combined.. Pour into the two pie crusts; and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight; I put mine in the freezer and once frozen; put into a gallon zip lock bag to store them in the freezer, then I take out and thaw slightly befor serving and serve with a dallop of whipped cream.... Enjoy...
