Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 to 3/4 cups cocoa, unsweetened (more makes it richer)
- 3 - egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - baked pie
How To Make julia's chocolate pie

Step 1Mix sugar, flour, salt, and cocoa in top of double boiler. Stir in milk and cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly until thick. Add egg yolks, one at a time and stirring well after each one. Cook for 3 minutes and add butter, stir well and pour into baked pie shell. Cool.
