- 3 - large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk (not buttermilk)
- 1 - 9-inch deep-dish prepared pie shell (store-bought or homemade)
How To Make it's a cinch egg custard pie

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Whisk the eggs, sugar, nutmeg, vanilla, cornstarch and milk together in a medium bowl until combined. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 45 minutes, until the pie is set; a knife inserted into the center should come out clean. Let the pie cool to room temperature before serving.
