individual pecan pies
I make these often to take to pot luck dinners or when my husband goes fishing with his buddies. They are easy and alway a big hit and they travel well. I usually double the recipe because they go very quickly!

Ingredients
- 12 - individual frozen pie shells
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extrat
How To Make individual pecan pies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange pie shells on baking sheet. Put 1 heaping tablespoon chopped pecans in each shell, dividing equally among shells. Set aside. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in corn syrup, sugar and eggs. Remove from heat, add vanilla. Pour filling into pie shells, dividing equally among shells. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until pies are golden brown.
