The sixth sweet potato pie recipe I created has the taste of hot chocolate. I created the filling, it's smooth and crunchy and the same time. Serve this pie with a mug of hot chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 packet hot cocoa mix
- 4 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 unbaked pie crust (9-inch)
- 1 cup crushed chocolate covered pretzels
- 3 sweet potatoes
- 5 tablespoons margarine, divided
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup chilled chocolate milk
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
How To Make hot chocolate sweet potato pie

Step 1In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, cream cheese, hot cocoa mix and chocolate syrup; whisk together until blended and smooth.

Step 2Spread into the pie crust and sprinkle with chocolate covered pretzels. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 3Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 4Heat a large saucepan of salted water over medium-high heat. Add sweet potatoes and boil for 20 minutes, or until soft. Drain well and peel.

Step 5Place in a large bowl and mash with a fork. Beat 3 tablespoons margarine, cane sugar, eggs and chocolate milk together until combined.

Step 6Spoon into a prepared pie crust. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Cool completely.

Step 7Heat remaining margarine in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add marshmallow creme and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 8Spoon into a cooled sweet potato pie. Garnish with hot cocoa mix.
