Honey Pie

A delicious recipe dating back to the 1920s. It is so great to have a recipe make it from generation to generation! NOTE THE PIE PICTURED HAS A THIN MERINGUE TOPPING. I am not one for meringue.
Ingredients

1 ctoasted slivered almonds

1 csugar
-
3/4 choney
-
3eggs slightly beating
-
1/4 cbutter, melted
-
2 Tbspheavy cream
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1/2 tspalmond extract
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
9inch unbaked pie shell
How to Make Honey Pie
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375
- Blend all ingredients except crust in a mixing bowl. pour into pie shell. Bake 40 to 50 minutes, until crust is set and filling is golden. Let cool at least 2 hours before cutting.
