This is the first desert that i made my husband and he loved it! I found out that he loved butterscotch and I made him a butterscotch one. He loved it even more. This is easy and delicious. Give it a try. I'm sure you will please your family with this one!

Ingredients For holy smoke pie

  • 1 stick
    of butter
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    pecans
  • 1 oz
    8 ozs cream cheese
  • 1 c
    cool whip
  • 1 c
    powder sugar
  • 2 box
    chocolate instant pudding
  • 2 1/2 c
    milk
  • mini chocolate chips

How To Make holy smoke pie

    Crust: Mix together in a bowl. 1 stick of butter ( melt in microwave ) 1 cup of flour 1/2 cup of pecans Mixture will be thick. Press in the bottom of a 9 by 13 pan. Bake at 350 until it's golden brown

    Mix with mixer,1- 8 oz package of cream cheese ( soften to room temp) ,1 cup cool whip and 1 cup of powder sugar. pour this mixture over the crust when it has cooled.

    2 Boxes of instant chocolate Pudding ( you can use what ever flavor of pudding you like in this recipe ) and 2 1/2 to 3 cups of milk ( Depending on the thickness you like )Pour this over the cream cheese mixture. Put some of the left over cool whip on top of the pudding. Sprinkle top with mini chocolate morsels and chopped pecans. Put in fridge for 4 hours or over night. Cut and serve. Delicious!
