This yam bake is good anytime not just the holidays!

  • 1---40 oz
    can yams
  • 1 can(s)
    (8 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 1 c
    raisins (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp
    light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    miniature marshmallows

How to Make Holiday Yam Bake


  1. Drain yams; mash well.
  2. Drain pineapple; reserve juice.Add juice to yams.
  3. Add sugar and butter; beat well.
  4. Stir in pineapple and pecans, and raisins is optional!
  5. Spray inside of 1 1/2 quart casserole dish with Pam.
  6. Spoon in mixture..
  7. Bake for 20 minutes. @ 350 degrees. Sprinkle with marshmallows. BAKE 10 minutes longer.
