- CRUST:
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick), melted
- FILLING:
- 1/4 cup instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 3 cups whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons irish whiskey
- 6 tablespoons kahlua
- - shaved chocolate, garnish, optional

Step 1For crust. Preheat oven to 375F.

Step 2Combine crumbs and butter in small bowl.

Step 3Press into 9-inch pie plate.

Step 4Bake until set, about 8 minutes.

Step 5Cool completely.

Step 6For filling; Dissolve coffee in water.

Step 7Combine all ingredients except garnish and beat on medium speed until mixture holds peaks.

Step 8Pour all but 1/2 cup into crust, spreading evenly.

Step 9Spoon remaining filling into pastry bag fitted with rosette tip and pipe frill around rim.

Step 10Garnish with shaved chocolate.

Step 11Chill thoroughly, 4 hours or overnight.
