Ingredients

  • CRUST:

  • 1 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    butter (1/2 stick), melted
  • FILLING:

  • 1/4 c
    instant coffee
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot water
  • 3 c
    whipping cream
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered sugar
  • 6 Tbsp
    irish whiskey
  • 6 Tbsp
    kahlua
  • ·
    shaved chocolate, garnish, optional

How to Make Heidi's Irish Coffee Cream Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. For crust.
    Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine crumbs and butter in small bowl.
  3. Press into 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Bake until set, about 8 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. For filling;
    Dissolve coffee in water.
  7. Combine all ingredients except garnish and beat on medium speed until mixture holds peaks.
  8. Pour all but 1/2 cup into crust, spreading evenly.
  9. Spoon remaining filling into pastry bag fitted with rosette tip and pipe frill around rim.
  10. Garnish with shaved chocolate.
  11. Chill thoroughly, 4 hours or overnight.
  12. Serve chilled.
