These pies freeze very well. I always keep one on hand in case company comes and I need something fast. This is a family favorite. Great for parties.

Ingredients
- 20 ounces can undrained pineapple chunks
- 16 ounces pitted sweet cherries
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 ounces box of orange jello
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 4-6 medium bananas
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 2 - baked pie shells
- 12 ounces cool whip
How To Make hawaiian pie

Step 1Combine: Flour, sugar & undrained pineapple together in a large pan. Bring to a boil.

Step 2Add Jell-o and stir until dissolved. Then add drained cherries. Cool 15-20 mins.

Step 3After cooling: add coconut and pecans. Then carefully fold in bananas. Pour into baked pie shells. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate

Step 4Serve with Cool Whip and top with crushed pecans if desired.
