Ingredients
- 1 box refrigerated pillsbury pie crusts
- 6 cups thinly sliced granny smith apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup chilled butter, diced
- 9 - caramel squares, quartered
How To Make harvest suprise apple pie

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9" deep dish pie pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine apples, lemon juice, sugars, spices, flour, butter and caramels.

Step 2Stir to coat ingredients evenly. Place 1 pie crust into bottom of pan. Spoon mix into crust. Top w/ pie crust. Crimp edges. Poke holes into crust w/ fork.

Step 3Sprinkle top crust w/ a little sugar. Place pie pan on baking sheet. Place foil strips around edges of pie crust. Bake 50 mins. Take foil off the crust the last 20 mins of bake time.
