green tomatoe pie
This is my Gramma Snowball's recipe. I watched her making it when I was a little girl and thought, Gross! But it really is yummy! Tastes a little bit like apple pie, but just enough different to make it interesting. She's gone now, but I have a few of her recipes still! My husband loves this and asks if I'm going to make it every year when we pick all the tomatoes before it freezes! I have also made this with sugar substitute, just follow the conversion chart (and I use a little less than it says) for whichever one you use!
