Ingredients

  • 16
    chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 14 large
    marshmallows
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    heavy cream, whipped
  • 3 Tbsp
    creme de cacao
  • 3 Tbsp
    green creme de menthe

How to Make Grasshopper Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter and press into a pie pan.
  2. Melt marshmallows with milk in the top of a double boiler over boiling water. Remove from heat and cool.
  3. Fold in whipped cream, creme de cacao and creme de menthe.
  4. Pour into crust and freeze at least 24 hours.
  5. Remove 15 minutes before serving. (This pie may be stored in the freezer for at least a month.)
