Ingredients
- - pastry for 9 inch 2 crust pie
- 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups seedless red grapes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
- 2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
- 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 dash salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make grape apple berry pie

Step 1Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Prepare pie crust.

Step 3In large bowl, combine all ingredients, except butter; toss lightly.

Step 4Spoon apple mixture into pastry lined pie plate; dot with butter.

Step 5Top with remaining pastry; fold top of pastry under bottom pastry.

Step 6Flute edge; cut slits in several places.

Step 7Bake at 400 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden.

Step 8Place pan on foil or cookie sheet during baking to guard against spilling.

Step 9TIP: Cover edge of crust with foil during last 10-15 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
