My Grandfather's favorite pie. It's rich, and decadent ... if you like butterscotch this will be one of your favorite desserts!

Ingredients
- 1 - graham cracker pie crust
- 2 cans 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 pint real heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons sugar
How To Make granny's carmel pie

Step 1In a medium sauce pan place the cans of sweetened condensed milk with the label removed. Add water to cover the can. Heat to boiling the reduce heat to medium/low for 4 to 5 hours checking often and adding water to keep can covered.

Step 2Turn off heat and let cool. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate 3 hours.

Step 3For topping: In a mixer beat whipping cream on high until soft peaks form. Slowly add sugar and vanilla and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. To serve: Slice and add a heaping spoonful of cream and dig in!
