Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 - large eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups shredded coconut
How To Make grandmother's coconut pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Mix butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and vinegar. Blend in 1 ½ cups of the coconut.

Step 3Pour into your favorite made from scratch, refrigerated, or frozen 9 inch pie crust.(I use a frozen 9 inch deep dish crust.)

Step 4Sprinkle the remaining coconut over the top of pie and lightly press into the mixture.

Step 5Bake at 325 degrees for one hour or until set and golden brown. Enjoy!
