when grandma had no fruit for pie, she'd make sugar pie. It is too sweet for me, but some people love it as it brings back memories and times of their past.This is the recipe she gave me. I actually had one person, when I used to sell baked goods, ask for this and loved it.

How to Make Grandma's Sugar Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. mix sugar flour and butter by hand until crumbly
  2. put 1/3 of crumb mixture in bottom of pie shell
  3. pour both milks over crumb mixture.
  4. sprinkle rest of crumbled mixture over top of milks
  5. bake in 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until filling thickens.
