The butter flavor is so creamy that I can almost taste it now just typing the recipe, LOL. This pie is very rich so I eat it in small amounts at a time, but WOW! What a pie!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
- 1 - unbaked 9" pie shell
How To Make grandma's pecan pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 375.

Step 2Cream butter until light & fluffy; gradually add sugar - beating after each addition.

Step 3Add eggs - one at a time.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients in order listed - beat after each addition.

Step 5Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell & bake for 40 to 50 minutes.

Step 6Allow to cool completely before serving.

Step 7HINT: To avoid boiling over & burning of pie shell edge - wrap a band of foil over shell and edge of pie tin.
