    butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 4 large
    eggs
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • 1 c
    raisins
  • 1 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2
    9 inch pie crusts

How to Make Grandma Modlin's Japanese Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Combine butter, sugar and eggs until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans, coconut and raisins. Add coconut and raisins. Stir in vinegar and vanilla. Divide batter between pie crusts. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until firm.
